The 30-year-old Irishman moved to Blundell Park from Bradford City last Thursday and marked his debut with a fine all-round performance and a goal as the Mariners stunned high-flying Gillingham with a 3-0 win that moved them out of the relegation zone.[LNB]And despite Bradford still being in the promotion hunt at the top of League Two, Conlon is happy to have swapped a play-off chase for a relegation dogfight.[LNB]"It was a challenge for me," he told Grimsby's official website. "I like a challenge, in every way of life I like a challenge.[LNB]"I knew straight away, when I spoke to the gaffer on Thursday I said 'I'll be on my way in the morning, I'll sign and I'm looking forward to the challenge, no problems.'[LNB]"I just came to do a job and it (Saturday) was a good start."[LNB][LNB]
