The Irish striker has scored two goals in as many games since joining on loan from Bradford and his goals have helped move Mike Newell's side three points clear of the bottom two, with six games to play. Conlon's cool penalty earned Town a 1-0 win over Aldershot, their second win in a row following a 3-0 success over Gillingham. "It is a massive three points, same as it was last week," the 30-year-old told the Grimsby Telegraph. "Hopefully we can carry that on confidence-wise because you never know what twists and turns there are going to be between now and the end of the season. "We have got a bit of momentum now but we can't rest on that. Momentum is valuable but things can change on you very easily and we have got to get that into our heads that that can happen, and make sure it doesn't."
