Clarke signs new mariners deal
The utility-man told the club's official website: "I see on Teletext that all these players have been released and it is a really uncertain time for a player out of contract. It's good to get it tied up for another year."
Mike Newell released five players after the club spent last season battling against relegation.
Loan deals for Barry Conlon and Joe Widdowson have also been made permanent as the rebuilding process at Blundell Park continues.
