Boshell agrees new Mariners deal

The 28-year-old, who has made over 100 appearances for the Mariners, was out of contract this summer but has taken the option to extend his stay in Lincolnshire.[LNB]And Boshell, who joined Grimsby from Stockport in 2006, is now looking forward a bright future for the club under the guidance of Mike Newell.[LNB]"Hopefully we can push on next season and try and get promoted," he told Grimsby's official website. "I spoke to Mike Newell after the end of the season and there was a couple of things I had to go away and think about.[LNB]"I think this club is going places under Mike Newell and I was happy to sign again. He gives you confidence and just wants you to go out and play and express yourself."[LNB]Boshell becomes the fourth player to commit his future to Grimsby this summer, joining Jamie Clarke, Barry Conlon and Joe Widdowson in putting pen to paper.[LNB][LNB]
