Posh are set to hold further talks with the Mariners and Darren Bossons revealed his client is eager to make a move to the League One side.
"Ryan would welcome the opportunity to talk to Peterborough in the event that the two clubs are able to agree something," Bossons told Sky Sports News.
"This position has been expressed to Grimsby."
