Bennett completes Posh switch
Posh manager Ferguson had two bids for Bennett rejected in the summer, but has now agreed a three-month loan deal for the defender, with a view to making the move permanent in January.
Bennett, who already has over 100 senior appearances to his name, will go into United's squad to face Scunthorpe on Saturday.
