Gretna's caretaker manager Mick Wadsworth is upbeat about the club's future, saying that four bids for the Black & Whites are in the offing.
Wadsworth said after the goalless draw at Falkirk: "In terms of people interested, I believe there are four interested parties.
"Who they are, I honestly couldn't tell you.
"We obviously hope one of those parties is capable of taking the club over when the right time comes at the end of the season to give the club the opportunity to carry on.
"It's certainly a better situation than it's been at other times. We've been really down on our heels, in desperate straits really, believing that the club could close and finish at any time.
"Suffice to say, a lot of people have suffered, lost their jobs, like previous employees and players.
"We're okay because we're training and working, that's what we enjoy, but a lot of people have suffered and will all suffer, in a sense, because probably most of us will not be at the club from the end of the season onwards."
