Skelton hopes Gretna survive

Long-serving Gretna midfielder Gavin Skelton is hopeful that the club can survive, following the confirmation of their relegation from the SPL.
The 27-year-old has been with the Black & Whites throughout their rise through the pyramid north of the border, but Gretna face an uncertain future after backer Brooks Mileson withdrew his support.
Skelton told the News & Star: "I just want the club to survive. Whatever the future holds for us it would be nice to think the club will still be in existence for the fans.
"The future is up in the air and we don't know what's going to happen. There have been rumours for a long time and it is unsettling, but it's been happening all season.
"The relegation issue has taken a back seat over the last few weeks.
"I'd be lying if I said it didn't bother me because it's there on your CV and it's not a nice feeling, but my main hope is that there is a club in the future."
