Gretna have confirmed David Irons as their new head coach as they continue to prepare for their first ever season in Scottish football's top-flight.
Irons has been in caretaker charge of the club since Rowan Alexander was placed on sickness leave in March.
Irons will be assisted by new director of football Mick Wadsworth, who said: "Davie will be heading the show and we have faith in him to be an outstanding head coach."
Operations director Craig Mileson added: "Davie will be in charge for the new season along with Mick Wadsworth. We cannot say anything about Rowan at the moment."
