Horwood heads for Gretna

Gretna have signed Sheffield United defender Evan Horwood on loan until the New Year.
The 21-year-old has made just one appearance for the Blades to date, but has senior experience from loan spells with Stockport County, York City, Chester City and Darlington.
Borderers director of football Mick Wadsworth told the club's official website: "I have watched Evan's progress at Sheffield United in reserve games and have seen him play for Darlington.
"He is a player with a very bright future and he will be a good addition to our first-team squad."
