SPL basement side Gretna have signed Nigerian striker Henry Makinwa on a short-term deal running until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old was a free agent, having enjoyed spells with Rayo Vallecano, Vitoria Setubal and Rapid Bucharest earlier on in his career.
Boss Davie Irons told the club's official website: "Henry's an experienced striker who has got a good pedigree.
"He's played at a high level throughout Europe and that will be beneficial to our side. He's a different type of forward to what we have at the club and will give us another option.
"He holds the ball up well and has a good touch. He will bring more players into the game and allow more people to get forward, which is something we need to do."
