Gretna sign young duo

Gretna snapped up Blackburn Rovers midfielder Rostyn Griffiths and Barnsley defender Rhys Meynell on loan until the end of the season on the last day of the January transfer window.

Australian Griffiths came through the academy system at Ewood Park but failed to make a first-team appearance for Mark Hughes' side.

Meynell has been a regular in the Tykes' reserve team and has been loaned out to Ossett Albion in the past.

Meanwhile, veteran striker James Grady has signed for Hamilton while defender Martin Canning has left the Black & Whites by mutual consent.
