Gretna's administrator has revealed that there are three parties interested in taking over the cash-strapped club.
David Elliot of Wilson Field has hinted the future outlook of the troubled SPL club could be positive despite fears last week that they were on the verge of closure.
One of the interested parties is believed to be former Carlisle United manager Roddy Collins, who is heading an Irish consortium.
"I have met now with three interested parties and I think two of those parties do have an ability to keep the football side going," revealed Elliot.
"There are no contracts out, but they know what it is that is required to take on Gretna.
"They know how I would structure the deal but I have not instructed solicitors - we are not at that stage yet.
"But they understand what is required and they are still in the loop, they are still there.
"Once I come close to something, I will make and announcement."
