Gretna have been warned that they could be wound up on Thursday if they are unable to find £30,000.
The Black and Whites officially went into administration on Wednesday, and the club's appointed administrator, David Elliot of Wilson Field Limited, says wages and the cost of the trip to Aberdeen for Saturday's SPL match must be paid.
He said: "We need to find £30,000 to enable the club to fulfil its fixture on Saturday. That's emergency funding for wages and overnight stay and transport.
"Unless Gretna get £30,000 by lunchtime on Thursday, the club is finished.
"The club is under immense pressure from creditors. The main creditor is the Inland Revenue who are owed £350,000 by the club and it was their intention to take that debt into court on Monday.
"However, the notice of intention to go into administration has prevented the Inland Revenue from taking the matter to court."
