Gretna exit for unwanted trio

Gretna have released three players as part of a promised January clearout by boss Davie Irons.
Defender David Cowan has left the Black & Whites after his contract expired on January 1.
The 25-year-old joined the club on a short-term deal from Ross County in February 2006 and made three appearances as they won promotion to the Scottish Premier League last season.
Meanwhile, midfielder Niall Henderson and goalkeeper Colin Scott have also been released.
Henderson has spent the last four-months on loan at Dumbarton, while Scott came out of retirement in September to provide emergency goalkeeping cover.
Speaking last month, Irons said: "It will be a two-way thing, with players leaving and getting players in.
"We have an extensive list of names which we would like to bring in, but it all depends of what we are able to do."
