Gretna drop to third division

Gretna have been relegated to the Scottish third division in the latest twist to the saga surrounding the crisis-torn club.
At the Scottish Football League's AGM, administrator David Elliot could not guarantee the ailing club could fulfil their fixtures next season and, as a result, they have now been demoted an additional two levels.
The Black & Whites were also told that the SFL will not accept the club's continued status of being in administration.
"We and the SFL had to make sure we protected the integrity of our league," said chief executive David Longmuir.
"There was no commitment from the administrator that Gretna could fulfil the fixtures at all in the coming season, which means we had to do what we thought was right for our league."
