Greece coach Otto Rehhagel sees no reason why his side should not shock Spain having beaten hosts Portugal 2-1 in the opening game of Euro 2004.
An early Giorgios Karagounis strike and an Angelos Basinas penalty put Greece in control and Cristiano Ronaldo's stoppage-time goal proved to be mere consolation for the Portuguese.
"Last night we enjoyed ourselves a bit, celebrating only with our joy and not with wine," said Rehhagel.
"We know the Spaniards are the favourites in the next game but I know that the victory against Portugal has given us extra wings.
"Now we have a great opportunity and we must grab it. There is this opportunity waving at us and we must grasp it.
"People around the world will see this as a historic victory that will be talked about for decades."
Yourkas Seitaridis picked up a foot injury during the match and did not train on Sunday. Neither did Karagounis, who has a minor ankle injury.
Although Trainos Dellas did train Rehhagel admitted he was not 100 per cent.
Greece were joined at the top of Group A by Spain who beat Russia 1-0 in their opening fixture.
