Grays Athletic celebrated their Centenary in 1990. They have played at the Recreation Ground since 1906 and became members of the Athenian League in 1912. The New Rec was re-developed in 2004-2005 to meet football Conference standards, and can now hold approx. 3500 fans. Grays did the double last season winning Conference South and The FA Trophy and are the first club outside of the Football Conference to achieve this.
