Youngster Rooney agees Gills deal
The 18-year-old midfielder scored 12 times for the Gills' youth team this season and has been involved in the first-team squad on a few occasions, although he is yet to make his debut.[LNB]He made six Blue Square Premier appearances while on work experience with Lewes at the end of the season and manager Mark Stimson hopes he can press for a first-team spot next season.[LNB]"Luke is technically a good player," he said. "He's busy, he gets around the pitch and he's got an eye for goal.[LNB]"We'll be looking for him to come back in pre-season and fight for a first-team place."[LNB][LNB]
