Gillingham's Curtis Weston has revealed that a motivational chat from manager Mark Stimson has given him the drive he needed to improve. The midfielder scored the opening goal in their 3-0 FA Cup win over Southend. [LNB]He told BBC Radio Kent: "We had a chat during the week and he said, 'you're doing all right but you can do better'. [LNB]"I agreed with him and I took that into the game. It was in my head and I think that was a big part of me scoring and performing better." [LNB]Weston added: "I'm going to try and take that into the rest of the season." [LNB]The 22-year-old has already equalled his goal scoring tally from last season - having netted five times - and he is confident there are more to come this campaign. [LNB]"Obviously I want to score as many as I can," said Weston. [LNB]"I don't want to set targets but if I hit double figures then that's good for a midfielder. [LNB]"I'll try and do that and hopefully I won't be too far short."
