The 22-year-old signed a two-year contract extension on Monday to keep him at the club until 2012 and believes it will be a good season for the Gills, who are back in League One after winning promotion at Wembley in May. "I think we'll take momentum into the season," he said. "I'm still buzzing about playing all these big teams and I know the other lads are too. "The gaffer (Mark Stimson) is going to try and make one or two more signings and I think what we've got already is pretty strong. "Momentum will be a massive part for us, if we can take that into next season, win the first few games, get a bit of confidence up and get the fans behind us I think we'll do fine. "The security is important for me and obviously I enjoy playing here so much so it's brilliant to sign for that long."
