Weston could miss out

Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler has an injury doubt over Curtis Weston for the home clash with Barnet. The creative midfielder had been struggling with a knee injury ahead of last weekend's 1-1 draw with Morecambe but declared himself fit to start the game. However, the 24-year-old limped out of the game after 69 minutes and is now a major doubt to face the Bees. Striker Dennis Oli remains sidelined with a recurring hamstring problem that has blighted his season, while Stefan Payne also misses out again with a knock. With attacking options limited, Hessenthaler has hinted that Luke Rooney could take up an attacking role. He told the club's official website: "Fortunately we have Luke Rooney who is, without doubt, a forward thinking player, he is attack-minded, he makes things happen, and I thought he did really well when he came on against Morecambe."
