Trio free to leave Gills

Gillingham manager Mark Stimson has made three players available for transfer or loan deals following the club's relegation to League Two.

Delroy Facey, Efe Sodje and Aaron Brown are all free to leave the Priestfield Stadium as Stimson looks to cut his big squad.

Meanwhile, the Gills have returned to pre-season training one month after the previous campaign ended.

Stimson said: "The last time I saw the players they were disappointed, but they've returned in a light-hearted manner.

"Afterwards the players had rosy cheeks and were blowing. We didn't do anything mad, it was just about getting their bodies in condition, so that in July we can up the ante.

"They were all in reasonable shape and looking good. The next three or four weeks are all about fitness."
