Tactics change does it for Gills

The introduction of top scorer Simeon Jackson in the 55th minute galvanised the Gills and minutes later Andy Barcham set up Nicky Southall to score his second goal of the campaign. "Second half I changed the shape of the side, made some changes and fortunately it worked," said Stimson. "Simeon has worked hard in training but in the games he's missed we've scored seven goals, but he played well when he came on. "The first half wasn't good enough, we didn't get the ball down and play as you would have liked and there weren't many chances to talk about. I explained to the players the second half had to be better as the only player showing any composure was our keeper Simon Royce. "We have to play a certain way at home because of the pitch. We didn't do that which was disappointing. But after the break we were better."
