Swindon fixture brought forward
Kent Police had requested that the game on August 8 be brought forward from the traditional 3pm start after crowd trouble when the two clubs met at Priestfield in January 2006. The last meeting between the two sides in Kent in April last year also started at 12.30pm on the advice of police. The two clubs have a rivalry stretching back to the late 1970s and although there was trouble at that game in 2006 - which was the first meeting since the play-off final of 1987 - the last three fixtures between the clubs have passed without major incident.
