Gillingham manager Mark Stimson has admitted he is still pondering offering contracts to the four players he has on trial at the club.
Former Yeovil defender Aaron Brown, Watford left-back Jordan Parkes and former Charlton pair Sam Long and Rasid Yussuff have all been given the chance to win contacts at Priestfield by featuring in both of the newly-promoted League One side's pre-season friendlies thus far.
Parkes and Yussuff have been the most impressive players so far, while Stimson hinted he is close to offering Brown a contract.
"Aaron's had a full 90 minutes again and we'll probably have to make a decision on him this week, but hopefully we can squeeze another couple of games out of the other boys before I make a decision," said Stimson.
"The young lad Yussuff has done well in the middle of the pitch, while Jordan looked good in the second half at Dartford - he's a neat and tidy football player."
