Manager Mark Stimson still has faith that Gillingham can avoid being relegated to League Two by winning their last two games of the season.

A 1-1 draw at Bristol Rovers left the Gills still three points adrift of safety, with crunch clashes at home to Swindon Town and at Leeds United to come.

Stimson told the Kent Messenger: "We need two wins and how we get them I don't care. If we have to play ugly to win then we'll do that.

"We've got six points to play for and that's what we've got to try and get and if that's enough, then fantastic.

"If we get those six points then I'm convinced that will be good enough and whether it is we'll wait and see."
