Stimson fails to land trio

Gillingham boss Mark Stimson has failed in a bid to lure Stevenage Borough trio Adam Miller, Stuart Lewis and John Nutter to the Priestfield Stadium. Stimson worked with the three players while he has the manager at Broadhall Way before being appointed as the Gills boss earlier this month. Chairman Paul Scally told the club's official website: "Our offers were rejected on Wednesday morning, but we'll be going back to find a way forward. "We want to bring the three players here as we're confident that they'll further enhance our squad."
