Stimson waxes lyrical over Jackson

Jackson's lobbed effort ensured the points remained in Kent after managerless Wycombe had twice come from behind to level. "For Simeon's goal, no other player on the pitch could have scored that goal," said Stimson. "But that's why we have him in the team, at the big games, at the vital points there's no-one better. He proved what he is worth to us. It's the goalscorers that win games and he is a goalscorer. "I'm very happy with the win. We wanted to play a passing game and the surface didn't really let us do that. "We had to put in a shift and we knew that when we saw the opposition, so full credit to our boys. I think we were the better team and in the end we got there. We know at the end of the season it will be teams like Wycombe that we will be competing against so obviously it us good to take the points in these fixtures."
