Stimson targets away-day boost

The Gills seemed on course for back-to-back home wins after Chris Dickson's early strike, only for Tamika Mkandawire to snatch a point for the Os in the second half.

And Stimson says there is no better way to make amends than by coming away from Brunton Park with maximum points this weekend.

He said: "It would be a great place to get something because it is so far. We want a nice rocking bus coming home after putting in a good shift. There's no better place to get that first win, if you are going to pick one this is the place.

"Coming away with just a point was disappointing because we thought we could get all three points. After taking an early lead, you think 'just maintain it' but we didn't get that second goal.

"I was disappointed with the decision that led to their goal. If anything I thought it was our free-kick but the officials didn't agree with it, and although it was on the touchline, the ball has been placed four or five yards from the sidelines."
