Stimson salutes Jackson strike

21 February 2010 14:03
Jackson fired inside the near post two minutes into time added on to earn the hosts a 1-0 win with their first goal at home in 2010 - a victory which also eases their relegation worries.[LNB]Jackson had started the game on the bench, with all the pre-match talk being about the return of Chris Dickson to the club where he scored 11 goals in 14 games two seasons ago.[LNB]Stimson said: "The little man (Jackson) did what he does best coming off the bench and that's a good sign. That's the way to react, if you get left out and then get a chance you must go on and make an impact.[LNB]"He's picked the ball up, turned and there's just one thing on his mind and it was nice to see it go in as it has been a while since we've scored at home.[LNB]"There's been a lot of talk about Chris Dickson having come back to the club and he has given the place a lift as he's a boy who plays with a smile on his face and wants to do well. However, deep down I know Jacko doesn't want to give up his number one spot among the strikers."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
