The Kent side went onto record their seventh home league win off the season as sensational first-half strikes from Dennis Oli, Febian Brandy and John Nutter in his 100th appearance for the Gills helped inflict Stockport's ninth straight league defeat with a 3-1 success.[LNB]The victory has given Gillingham a five-point buffer over the drop zone and Stimson was relieved the game survived the big freeze.[LNB]He said: "I turned up just before 10.00am and we had about 25 volunteers, most of them under 18, and full credit to them because they've worked their socks off.[LNB]"They've shovelled the snow, dug in and really made this game happen. Without them, this game wouldn't have gone ahead.[LNB]"It was a fantastic result and first-half performance where we scored three goals which probably are goal-of-the-season contenders."[LNB][LNB]
