Stimson holds hand up after loss

Barnet striker Paul Furlong was in fine form, scoring the opening goal and also winning the penalty which John O'Flynn converted in the second half. Stimson said: "I'm disappointed - we didn't perform like we can. I've told the players to forget about it and look forward to the next five games. "But if we play like that again then we won't pick up too many more points. Players play at this level because of their inconsistency. I made a couple of changes that didn't work." Sections of the home crowd chanted "You don't know what you're doing" when Stimson replaced winger Andy Barcham - who was later named sponsor's man of the match - with Garry Richards, but the Gills boss insisted the decision was not a tactical one. "I took off Andy Barcham because he's been carrying an injury for four weeks but I don't expect the fans to understand," he added.
