Stimson confident of play-offs

Curtis Weston's first-half goal secured the Gills the points that earns them a home tie in the second leg of their play-off tussle, and Stimson was happy with his side's performance, giving special praise to Albert Jarrett. "Albert Jarrett was outstanding and has shown some great form," said Stimson. "He's given me a headache for the next couple of days. The guy that Rochdale brought on in the second half (Dave Flitcroft) looked like he was trying to put someone out of Thursday's game. "Albert terrorised the Rochdale right-back but Thursday night is going to be totally different. Both sides made a lot of changes and they are a good footballing side. "We've just got to come here on Thursday and make sure we're still in the tie for the home leg. We're quietly confident we can come here and perform well. I'm sure whoever puts that shirt on will give it everything they've got."
