Stimson cautious over loan raids

Stimson signed Charlton midfielder Josh Wright on loan on Tuesday and despite his side's promotion hopes taking a hit with the 3-0 defeat at Grimsby, the Gills boss will not rush into making further signings. "One game and one defeat won't change what I see out there and what the boys have got," he said. "I'm quietly confident these players will take us where we want to be. If someone jumps out at us and we think he could be effective then we might do that." Stimson's main concern is over defenders Barry Fuller and Mark Bentley and midfielder Adam Miller, who are all just one booking away from a two-match ban, but he is confident those already available to him can step in should any of the trio get their 10th bookings before the cut off on Easter Sunday. "That's three more games and those games we've got coming up are quite competitive," Stimson added. "I expect one or two to pick up a booking but, if we do, we have the likes of Stuart Lewis and Garry Richards."
