Spiller concern for Gills

Danny Spiller is a major doubt for promotion-chasing Gillingham's home clash against lowly Hereford. The midfielder missed training on Thursday after being struck down with sickness and diarrhoea. Lance Cronin will definitely miss out with measles, leaving young goalkeeper Darren Hawkes to take his place on the bench. Striker Dennis Oli picked up a slight knock in the reserves' victory over Leyton Orient in midweek but should be fit to start in attack. Tony Sinclair and Jack Payne have returned to full training and are in contention to make the matchday squad. The Gills have not lost in 13 matches, leaving them firmly in the play-off picture. They were held to a goalless draw at Edgar Street in August, though.
