Sinclair set for spell on sidelines

Gillingham defender Tony Sinclair could be out of action until February. The 25-year-old has been carrying an injury for several weeks and a precautionary scan identified a broken bone in his foot. He will now be out for four to six weeks to let the damage heal itself. "It's been one of those years so far," Gills manager Andy Hessenthaler told kentonline.co.uk. "The injury situation has been against us. "We just have to get on with things, we can't do anything about it. "He has been playing for a while and we thought it was just bruising. He went to have his foot scanned and it showed up a fracture in his toe."
