Rooney farmed out to Eastbourne

The 19-year-old turned professional last summer and recently signed a two-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2012. Rooney has made a promising start to his first-team career, scoring on his full league debut in the 3-0 win over Exeter in September before netting a stunning strike in the 4-1 defeat at Southampton a month later.
