Randolph answers Gills call

Gillingham have snapped up Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Darren Randolph on a month's loan.

The 19-year-old has yet to make his first-team debut for the Addicks, but impressed during a three-month stint with Accrington Stanley during the early part of last season.

Randolph helped the Reds on their way to the Conference title and his efforts were rewarded with a new two-year contract at The Valley.

Gills boss Ronnie Jepson may be forced to press Randolph into immediate action, with Kelvin Jack struggling to overcome an injury in time to face Northampton Town.
