Pugh, 20, has scored four goals for Grays this season and Stimson had wanted to have him back for the promotion run-in before a change of heart and allowing Pugh to return to the Essex club as they battle against relegation from the Blue Square Premier. Stimson said: "He came back but Grays drove me mad, begged me, everything they could to take him again because he did so well for them and he scored the winning goal last Saturday. "We've let him go back there and we've got a 24-hour call-back now. "He doesn't need to worry about next season, that will be taken care of and he will be offered a deal here." Stimson has also allowed youth-team midfielder Luke Rooney to move to already-relegated Blue Square Premier side Lewes on work experience.
