Public help police arrest suspect

Police officers in Kent have commended members of the public for their assistance in the arrest of a suspect.Officers were called around 1850 BST on 21 September following a robbery at a Post Office in Maidstone. The suspect was arrested after embers of the public reported seeing a masked man run from the scene. During the incident the postmaster was attacked with a machete.
