Prolific Jackson wants final push

Jackson made it 20 for the season with both goals in the 2-1 semi-final second leg win over Rochdale, and although the 22-year-old is pleased with his personal tally, he is desperate to help the Gills win promotion back to League One by beating Shrewsbury at Wembley on Saturday. He told KentOnline: "It's a good milestone to achieve and it's good to get that but if you go to Wembley and don't get the result it means nothing. "It wouldn't be complete. After everything we've done up to this point it would mean nothing so we have to get ourselves across the line now." Fellow forward Andy Barcham is confident that the Gills can see off the Shrews, adding: "The gaffer (Mark Stimson) said to me when I first came here that we're looking for promotion and we've got the ability in the squad to do that. "It was a shame that we didn't go up automatically but this is a great way to do it and for us to play at Wembley will be a great day. If we can get the result we want it would be tremendous."
