The Gills beat Shrewsbury 1-0 at Wembley on Saturday to book their return ticket to the third tier and Stimson is excited by the prospect of bringing in some top quality players for next season.
He told the Coca-Cola Football League podcast: "Before the final you have a couple of lists; these players would be good enough for Division One or Division Two.
"Fortunately since we've won the game there's been massive interest from even more agents than I usually talk to, flooding players towards us that you think might have been out of our reach.
"This summer there are going to be so many players out of contract and we can sit back now and maybe get involved with players that I thought wouldn't have interested us.
"It's exciting times and everyone at the club is looking forward to the fixtures coming out because there are some local games that are massive but also some others, like the Southampton and Norwich games, that Gillingham haven't played for a long while."
