Parky plays down Dickson talk

The Gills are long-standing admirers of the 24-year-old, who smashed 11 goals in 14 appearances on loan at Priestfield in 2007, and manager Mark Stimson revealed at the weekend he had made a bid to sign him. But the Addicks boss has insisted he wants to keep Dickson - and that the offer made by their League One rivals falls short of his valuation of the former Dulwich Hamlet hitman. He told the South London Press: "He's been working hard and we don't want any of our players to leave. "Gillingham have made several enquiries about Chris but, even if we were thinking about selling, they are a long way off our valuation of him."
