Gillingham have parted company with first-team coach Iffy Onuora in the aftermath of the appointment of new manager Mark Stimson.
Onuora stepped up to be joint-caretaker manager when Ronnie Jepson left Priestfield in September, but has now exited the Gills altogether.
Stimson told the club's official website: "Iffy did a good job for the club but we felt it was time to change things.
"Scott Barrett and I have always worked together and I think the players only need to listen to two voices.
"Sometimes it becomes more difficult and they can make excuses if they are given too many instructions."
Meanwhile, new Gills manager Stimson is hoping to raid one of his former clubs, Grays Athletic, for midfielder Stuart Thurgood.
Stimson added: "Stuart is a player I know well. He's a leader and will bring a presence to the team.
"He'll bring good energy and craft to our midfield. We're looking to get him in, but with the injuries we might need to work on the defence first."
