Oli targets automatic promotion

A run of four winless games looked to have left the Gills' hopes of a top-three finish hanging by a thread, but Oli's header two minutes from time against Dagenham on Monday leaves them three points behind third-placed Wycombe with three games remaining for Mark Stimson's side. "We're in a real good position and if we can go on and win our remaining games anything could happen," said Oli. "You have to keep going until it's mathematically impossible that you can't get there and we've got a never-say-die attitude. "It could go either way. We've got to win and to not look behind us and to chase the people up there. If we fall short of the automatic places then we'll take the play-offs and give it our best shot. "We go to Chesterfield on Saturday and, although it will be a hard game, we'll try and get something from that game and see what happens. "To score the winner felt brilliant and the fans were singing my name and it felt great. The boys were bouncing off the walls afterwards and now we can't wait until the next game."
