Oli blow for Gills
Gillingham forward Dennis Oli is expected to miss the rest of the season after sustaining knee ligament damage.
The 27-year-old, who has been dogged by injury for much of the campaign, suffered damage to his medial ligament in the 4-1 reserve-team defeat to Brentford on Tuesday.
"Dennis has got a tear on his medial ligament and, barring a miracle, it looks like he could be out for the season," assistant manager Ian Hendon confirmed on Gillingham's official website.
"He could be ready for the play-offs, if it comes to that, but it does look like his season could be over.
Despite putting pen to paper on a new two-year contract with the Gills last summer, Oli has been restricted to four starts and 18 substitute appearances this term.
"It's disappointing for Dennis because he's been stop-start all season," Hendon added.
