Gillingham striker Gary Mulligan has agreed a new one-year contract at the Priestfield.
The 23-year-old marksman was out of contract this summer, but has now put pen to paper on a new 12-month deal.
The former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, who joined from Sheffield United in January 2006, found the net five times in 30 appearances last season.
Meanwhile, the Gills expect Simon Royce to be fit for pre-season training despite the goalkeeper missing the latter part of the last campaign with an ankle injury.
"We had him stretching high and low, moving from side to side, stopping a few volleys and half-volleys just to make sure he's progressing well," physio Paul Smith told the club's official website.
"I'm happy he'll be alright for pre-season."
