Gillingham are waiting to discover the full extent of the hamstring injury sustained by Joe Martin at Wycombe. The new signing was forced off just before half-time during Monday's 1-0 defeat. "It looks like a strain or maybe a tear. We'll assess that in the next couple of days, but it's a blow," Gills manager Andy Hessenthaler told BBC Radio Kent. To make matters worse for the Gills, captain Barry Fuller is also a doubt for the game against Stockport on Saturday with a groin problem. He played at Adams Park despite injuring himself in the warm-up. Hessenthaler added: "Barry slipped in the warm-up. He felt it all game to be fair and it was a risk. We'll have to look after Baz this week and see how he goes. "Barry has been doing really well of late getting forward, but he got through the game and we'll assess his groin in the next couple of days. Hopefully he'll be ok for the weekend."
