Luke impresses Stimson

New Gillingham manager Mark Stimson has challenged his senior strikers to react positively to the introduction of teenager Luke Freeman to the first-team squad.
Freeman, only 15, has made three appearances as a substitute in recent weeks, putting pressure on the likes of Gary Mulligan, Delroy Facey and David Graham.
Stimson told the Kent Messenger: "You have to think about those senior players.
"How would you feel about a 15-year-old boy taking your place? What would you do? I know what I would do, but we're all different.
"Fair credit to Luke, he doesn't look out of place and his age doesn't come into it.
"Once he's out on that pitch with the senior players he's as bright as any of them and that's really encouraging to see."
